Seller Policy

This Seller Policy sets out the standards that apply when you register as a seller and list items on Vastrinaa. It forms part of your agreement with us, together with the Terms & Conditions, Buyer Instructions, and Privacy Policy.

1. Who may sell

You must be at least 18 years old, hold a Vastrinaa customer account, and complete seller registration. We may approve, reject, suspend, or later withdraw seller access at our discretion if information is incomplete, misleading, or inconsistent with this policy.

2. Identity verification

Seller applications require identity documents as requested on the platform, typically Aadhaar details and photograph, and PAN where you choose to provide it. You must also add a working WhatsApp number so buyers can reach you. You confirm that documents and contact details are yours, genuine, and current. False or borrowed documents may result in rejection or account action.

We store and review this information only to verify sellers and operate the marketplace, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Listing standards

You may list only pre-loved fashion items that you own and have the right to sell. Each listing must:

• Use clear, recent photographs of the actual item, with a designated main image
• Describe brand, size, colour, material, condition, and notable wear honestly
• Show a fair price and the correct listing location
• Avoid stock photos, misleading edits, or another seller’s images

Listings are submitted for review. They are not shown in the shop until approved. We may request changes, reject a listing, or remove it after approval if it no longer meets these standards.

4. Pricing and edits

You are responsible for the price you set. After a listing is approved, price changes may be limited as shown in My Listings. Do not use fake “original” prices or bait-and-switch offers. Sold items must not remain offered for sale.

5. Buyer enquiries

When a buyer contacts you through Vastrinaa, you receive their name, email, phone, and message so you can continue the conversation, typically on WhatsApp. You agree to:

• Respond promptly and courteously
• Use buyer details only for that enquiry and sale
• Not share, sell, or spam buyer contact information
• Not redirect buyers to unsafe payment or off-platform schemes

6. Completing a sale

Payment, pickup, and shipping are agreed between you and the buyer unless Vastrinaa is the seller of the item. Pack items securely, dispatch as promised, and keep proof of shipment. When an item is no longer available, mark the listing as sold from My Listings so it leaves the shop. Sold listings cannot be edited or deleted by you from your profile.

7. Prohibited items and conduct

You may not list or use the platform to:

• Sell counterfeit, stolen, recalled, or illegal goods
• Misrepresent brand, size, condition, or ownership
• Offer items that are not clothing or accessories permitted on Vastrinaa
• Harass buyers, post offensive content, or attempt to circumvent review
• Create duplicate or spam listings

8. Fees

Any listing fees, resubmission charges, or commissions will be shown on the platform or in a separate seller notice before they apply. Unless stated otherwise, Vastrinaa does not collect the sale price from the buyer on your behalf.

9. Enforcement

We may reject listings, hide or remove products, suspend seller privileges, or close an account for breach of this policy, buyer complaints, or legal risk. You remain responsible for taxes, consumer-law duties, and disputes arising from your sales.

10. Liability

You indemnify Vastrinaa against claims arising from your listings, descriptions, fulfilment, or communications with buyers. The platform is provided as a venue to list and connect; we do not guarantee sales or buyer performance.

11. Changes

We may update this Seller Policy by posting a revised version on this page. Continued listing or selling after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
